Privacy Policy — New England Fiberglass Pools
Effective November 7, 2026
How we collect, use, and protect the information you share with us — including when you contact us through a Facebook or Instagram lead form.
Submitting a lead form on Facebook or Instagram? This is the policy that applies. When you tap "Get Quote" and send the form, Meta (Facebook / Instagram) sends us the details below so we can follow up about your pool. Meta's own handling of your information is covered by Meta's Privacy Policy.
1. Who we are
New England Fiberglass Pools is a fiberglass pool installer based in Westport, Massachusetts. We install fiberglass pools for homeowners across Rhode Island and Bristol County, Massachusetts. In this policy, "we," "us," and "our" mean New England Fiberglass Pools. "You" means anyone who visits our website, contacts us, or submits information through one of our lead forms or ads.
2. Information we collect
We collect only the information we need to respond to your inquiry and, if you hire us, to plan and complete your pool project. Your name — So we know who we're speaking with. Email address — So we can reply and send information about your project. Phone number — So we can call or text you back about your inquiry. Town — The town where the pool would be installed, so we can confirm you're in our service area. Timing — When you're hoping to have a pool installed. Notes about your backyard or pool — Anything else you choose to tell us about your yard, the pool you want, or your project. Information you give us in other ways. If you call, message, or email us directly, or speak with us in person, we may keep the information you share during that conversation — for example, your property address if you ask us to visit for a consultation. Information from Meta. If you submit a lead form on Facebook or Instagram, some fields may be pre-filled from your Meta profile. We receive what you review and submit on that form. Basic website information. When you visit our website, the site and its hosting provider may automatically record standard technical information such as your browser type, device type, pages viewed, and the date and time of your visit. We use this only to keep the site working and understand how it is used. We do not ask for, and you should not submit through a lead form, Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, payment card numbers, or health information.
3. How we use it
We use the information you provide to: Respond to your inquiry and contact you about a fiberglass pool installation; Understand your project — your town, timing, and what you're hoping for in your backyard; Schedule and carry out consultations, site visits, and installation work if you hire us; Send you information you asked for about our pools and services; Follow up about an inquiry or project you started with us; Keep business records, meet our legal and tax obligations, and protect against fraud or misuse; and Improve how we respond to homeowners and run our business. We use your lead form information to follow up about your pool — not to sell it to anyone else.
4. How we share it
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not rent it to marketers. We share information only in these limited circumstances: Service providers who help us work: companies that provide tools we use to receive, store, and respond to inquiries — such as Meta's lead ads tools, email, and phone services. They may use your information only to provide that service to us. Project partners, with your project in mind: if your installation requires a subcontractor, supplier, or permit office, we may share the details needed for that step — for example, your address and project details for a delivery or permit. Legal reasons: if required by law, court order, or a lawful government request, or to protect our rights, property, or safety, or the safety of others. Business transfer: if our business is sold or merged, information may transfer with it, subject to this policy or a successor policy that protects it at least as well.
5. Facebook & Instagram lead ads
Some of our inquiries come through lead ads on Facebook and Instagram, which are operated by Meta Platforms, Inc. When you submit a lead form, Meta collects and transmits your submission to us. Meta's use of your information is governed by Meta's own Privacy Policy, not this one. Once we receive your submission, this policy governs how we store, use, and share it. We download and review lead submissions to follow up with you. Please don't submit a lead form if you do not want us to contact you about a pool.
6. How long we keep it
We keep inquiry information for as long as is reasonably needed to respond to you, follow up about a potential project, and maintain our business records. If you become a customer, we keep project records for longer as needed for warranty, service, tax, and legal purposes. When information is no longer needed for those purposes, we delete it or remove details that identify you. You can also ask us to delete your information sooner — see "Your choices & rights" below.
7. Your choices & rights
You can, at any time: Ask what we hold: request a copy of the personal information we have about you; Ask us to fix it: request a correction if something is inaccurate or out of date; Ask us to delete it: request deletion of your information, subject to records we must keep by law; Stop follow-up: tell us not to contact you further about a pool, and we will stop, apart from any message needed to confirm your request; and Control your Meta information: manage what your Facebook or Instagram profile shares through your settings on those platforms. To make any of these requests, contact us using the details in the final section. We may need to confirm your identity before completing a request, and we will respond within a reasonable time.
8. Security
We take reasonable steps to protect the information you share with us, including limiting access to people who need it to respond to inquiries and do project work. No method of sending or storing information over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please contact us promptly if you believe information you shared with us has been misused.
9. Children's privacy
Our services are for homeowners. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has submitted information to us, please contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time — for example, if how we collect inquiries changes. When we do, we will post the updated version at this page and change the effective date at the top. The version posted here is the one that applies.
11. Contact us
If you have a question about this policy, or want to make a request about your information, contact us: New England Fiberglass Pools, Westport, Massachusetts, Serving Rhode Island & Bristol County, MA.
